Ireland: Not only a country full of beautiful ruins to taunt the imaginations of fantasy lovers, but full of lovely little book stores. I wish I’d had the time to explore every little shop we passed, but alas. After finding The Time Traveller’s Bookshop, I stumbled upon The Bookshop. It was a normal sort of place, with a science fiction and fantasy section largely consisting of George R.R. Martin (i.e. containing the obvious and almost nothing else), but it had a few nice details. And really, it is hard for me not to love a small, independent book store, no matter how sparse its sci fi/fantasy section. Have a look:
Hadn’t seen these Harry Potter covers before, and I quite liked them. They differ from the Brittish hardcovers I’ve seen, as well as the most recent Brittish softcovers. I don’t have time to go figure out what and where this edition is about, so if you happen to know, pretty please tell me all about it in the comments.
